CELEBRATE DR SEUSS'S BIRTHDAY WITH PARTIES ON MARCH 1dr_seuss_birthday

Party up a storm in honor of Dr. Seuss at 1:30PM or 6:30PM at South Charleston Public Library on Thursday, March 1. We will have stories, crafts, and snacks for the whole family to enjoy!

NATIONAL PASSPORT DAY, MARCH 10, 10AM TO 3PMPassport

Celebrate National Passport Day at South Charleston Public Library with extended hours to process passports, plus the convenience of having your passport photos taken on-site. AAA will partner with the library to take passport photos at the library on National Passport Day. Are you planning a summer trip outside the U.S.? Are the kids traveling out of the country with school or church groups this summer? Could that romantic honeymoon take you outside the U.S.? If so, be sure you have a passport and that it is up to date. If not, stop by to see us on March 10.

In a hurry? Be sure to pick up and complete a current passport application form at the library or download from www.travel.state.gov. Have your photo ID with you, bring expired passports, if you have them, bring a certified copy of your birth certificate, and bring checks or money orders for payment. Have questions about applying? Call the library at 304-744-6561, for more information.
